Ultimately, the primary goal of the Senior Corporate Recruiter is to ensure Royal IHC attracts, hires and retains the best employees while growing a strong talent pipeline and keeping time and cost per hire to a minimum. You‘ll represent Royal IHC throughout the whole recruitment process and you’ll be an important brand ambassador for everything Royal IHC stands for.

As a member of the CoE Talent and Organisational Development you will be a trusted advisor for the Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners. Your knowledge and coaching skills of the different channels and selection methods helps you attract the right candidates and ensure an outstanding candidate experience.

Your responsibilities

  • You will be a trusted advisor for Hiring Managers and stakeholders and consult them with your expertise in the defined working area: Corporate roles and scarcity roles within the Functional Disciplines, f.e. Electrical Engineers

  • Full life-cycle recruiting from the first intake with the hiring manager, managing the entire interviewing process to coordinating the offer

  • Build and maintain a good relationship with the business to understand their recruitment needs

  • Develop sourcing strategies and roadmaps and translate them into action

  • Leverage and maximize Workday Recruitment from screening to posting open positions, managing applicants and closing the positions

  • Showcase your passion for creating the maritime future – that means in-depth knowledge about competitors, target companies, relationships in open source networks

  • Responsibility for projects around employer branding, workday, job boards, data-driven recruitment, improving recruiting processes to bring our Talent Acquisition to the next level

Main requirements

You have a proven track record in recruitment, preferably within a Technology focused environment. As a true goal getter, you are driven to find the best candidates for your vacancies. You see the big picture and proactively bring ideas to continuously improve our processes. Your flexible, empathic and professional attitude helps you to engage with hiring managers and candidates. Next to that, you have:

  • At least a Bachelor degree in a related field with 5+ years of relevant recruitment experience within an agency and/or international company

  • Knowledge of the latest trends and experience with recruitment projects

  • Preferably experience in supporting, coaching and training hiring managers and HR Business Partners in recruiting talent

  • Ability to work under pressure with enthusiasm and energy in a flexible but changing working environment

  • Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and verbally

  • You are highly organized, system savvy (Workday), able to prioritize effectively and act autonomously

  • Your team spirit is at a great level
